TALL. Something I have always been. A characteristic that can not be controlled so you learn to embrace and love who you are. I had insecurities as a child, who didn’t? We just didn’t realize we weren’t alone at that time. It was a little uncomfortable growing up as the tallest in the class; however, I quickly learned that it was and is empowering to be tall.
I would be approached regularly to help with a difficult ‘reach’ for someone vertically challenged. I also realized that it was almost impossible for me to sneak in or out of a room. That would one day work to my advantage.
Today as a successful Director with Mary Kay, and working with thousands of women I know we are incredibly powerful, influential and we help to make to world a better place. Caring for others is a great reflection of what women can contribute. We frequently think with our heart in many instances and situations. I see it all of the time.
In my work and in my every day life I use the confidence I have grown into as a way to carry myself to help make a difference in others. I enjoy working with women and encouraging them to be all they can be, to reach higher and to push further for themselves and their families. To take time for themselves and to feel important, appreciated and valued. It thrills me to see a women who has worked with me stand a little taller, gain incredible confidence and feel like she can conquer the world and achieve her dreams.

My four children are growing taller every day. Teaching them to stand tall and to carry their height with pride, work their hardest and to have great expectation in everything they do has been an important learning lesson.
I continually give back to the community in ways that I feel and hope will make a difference in others lives. With being tall I feel I have great presence and do tend to get noticed. I believe this has helped open some doors. Height makes a statement all by itself.
My dream is to continue to inspire my children and others, to help them realize how important they are and to remind them they can be all they put their mind to, no matter what height they are.
I am Lisa-Marie Hintze, Independent Sales Director with Mary Kay. I stand 5’10” and I enjoy being ‘a head above’. I love to wear 4” high, slammin’ shoes and can pair them with the most incredible jeans that are ‘Long Enough’, thanks HEIGHT GODDESS!!
